ANNUAL RAMADAN FRIENDSHIP DINNER

The Annual Ramadan Friendship Dinner was held on April 3rd. This special event brought together leaders from various ethnic and religious backgrounds, as well as public and security officials, and individuals from diverse segments of society.
It was attended by distinguished public officials including New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin, ASAC Courtney Sansevero from FBI Newark, Director Laurie Doran of New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, along with New Jersey Federal Congressman Rob Menendez, State Senator Raj Mukerji, Assemblywoman Shama Haider, and Assemblyman Al Barlas.
Additionally, numerous local mayors, council members, sheriffs, police chiefs, representatives of civil society organizations, academics, and religious leaders, totaling approximately 200 guests, came together at the event.
Keynote speaker, Osman Oztoprak of Alliance for Shared Values delivered valuable messages on the theme of Peaceful Coexistence.
As part of the program, Imam Moutaz Charaf, Reverend Phil Latronico, and Rabbi Rachel Stainer led a prayer together and conveyed a message of peace.
