Sunday Turkish Brunch with Guest Speakers
TCCNJ brought the community together for a Sunday brunch that left hearts inspired and spirits uplifted.
Our guest speakers, Assemblywoman Shama Haider and Mr. Adam Ozdemir, Executive Director of Peace Islands Institute, took us on a journey through their recent trip to Greece. They shared their experiences visiting refugee camps and connecting with refugee families, shedding light on the resilience and hope they encountered.
As we savored delicious Turkish cuisine, our hearts were serenaded by the enchanting tunes of young musicians from the Turkish community, who skillfully played traditional Turkish instruments. 
It was a brunch filled with not just flavors but also a sense of purpose and unity.
