A Memorable Thanksgiving Celebration Bringing Communities Together
This Thanksgiving season, TCCNJ organized a series of vibrant Thanksgiving Community Dinners and programs. The events were met with great enthusiasm, bringing together approximately 500 participants from diverse cultural and national backgrounds. Guests were encouraged to explore each other’s cultural traditions by answering thought-provoking questions at their tables. A Kahoot trivia game about Thanksgiving added an extra layer of excitement to the events, followed by a raffle where participants received cultural gifts. The events featured mesmerizing Ebru (water marbling) art demonstrations and live music performances by our talented youth.
Attendees left with smiles on their faces, having formed new connections and shared unique cultural experiences. These programs not only celebrated Thanksgiving but also fostered understanding and harmony among our diverse communities.
