2014 Ramadan & Friendship Dinner at the Charthouse in Weehawken
July 10th, the Turkish Cultural Center in Bergen County hosted a Ramadan & Friendship Dinner at the Charthouse in Weehawken.
MC, Melikhan Turkileri opened the night by welcoming the guests and then inviting Turkish Cultural Centers President; Oz Senturk to the podium where he spoke about the importance of Ramadan and the mission of the Turkish Cultural Centers of NJ. A brief Ramadan Video was shown soon after explaining the Holy month of Ramadan and the meaning behind it.
Many Dignitaries were present that evening such as; Asw Angelica M. Jimenez, Asw. Marlene Caride, Sheriff Michael Saudino, Bergen County Executive Kathleen Donovan, Mayor of Weehawken, Mayor of Jersey City and many more.
It was a wonderful evening where new friendships were made.
